The last date for submission of application for admission to 1st Semester BA at Govt.T.Romana College is extended till 16th June 2022 (Thursday).

Willing candidates may submit application either through ONLINE @ https://trc.colles.in/application/login OR at the Office Counter during office hours.

Selected Lists will be published on 16th June 2022 @ 3pm. List will also be available @ www.trcollege.edu.in

Govt T Romana College opens admission to I Semester BA for eligible candidates from 31st May, 2022 - 10th June, 2022 both in online and offline mode. 
For Offline mode, admission form and College Prospectus can be obtained from Office Counter during office hour. Admission will be given to candidates who have passed HSSLC in 2nd Division and above on First Come, First Serve basis. Offline candidates are advised to approach Admission Help Desk before filling up admission form.
 
For online mode, register and apply through the College admission portal: https://trc.colles.in/application/login.  Offer of admission will be sent through SMS to candidates who have passed HSSLC in 2nd Division and above within two days from submission of admission form.
 
• Publication of 1st List of selected candidates: 13th June, 2022
• Admission for 1st selected candidates: 14th & 16th June, 2022
• Publication of 2nd List of selected candidates: 17th June, 2022
• Admission for 2nd selected candidates: 20th & 21st June, 2022
• Extension or shorten of admission period depends upon the availability of seats.
• Free admission will be given to outstanding athlete/sport person with valid certificate verified by Sport-in-Charge

GOVT. T.ROMANA COLLEGE FOUNDATION DAY

Details

The Pearl Jubilee (30th year) of the College was celebrated at the college with a cake cutting ceremony followed by a Session on Professional Ethics on 6th June, 2022. The session was chaired by Mrs. Ramdinliani, cake was cut by the principal and the senior most faculty, Dr.Lalchhuanmawii. The principal, Dr.Jenifer Lalbiakdiki spoke on the topic, "Professional Ethics and Healthy Working Atmosphere". 30 members attended the session which was concluded with a thanksgiving prayer offered by Prof.Malsawmliana. Lunch was served in celebration of the Pearl Jubilee. WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY OBSERVED

World No Tobacco Day was observed by Govt. T. Romana College and Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Custom Department, GOI on 31.05.2022. A two-kilometer Walkathlon was organised where 50 students from the College and 30 staff from Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Custom Department participated. In a brief programme before the Walkathlon, Mr Lalhmingmawia IRS, Additional Commissioner advised the students to refrain from consuming tobacco. Mr R. Lalremliana, Associate Professor and HoD Department of Economics also highlighted the adverse effects of tobacco and stressed the importance of physical exercise for mental and physical well being.

PAThe Department of Public Administration. Government T.Romana college observed 'World Social Work Day' on 16th March 2026, 2:00 pm at GTRC Public Administration Department Room. The resource person was Dr. Lalchhuanmawii, Associate Professor, Govt. T. Romana College. The programme was hosted by Dr.Sakhawliana, Faculty in the department of Public Administration.

On 18th March, 2026, the NSS and NCC Unit of Govt. T. Romana College and Army Recruiting Agency, Aizawl organised Career Guidance for Indian Army at RUSA Hall of Govt T. Romana college, Aizawl.

The college and the Yummy food Ltd. jointly organised Dancing, Eating and Cos play Competition in the college. Mika of 6th Semester won the Dance Battle. Cos play competition was won by Philip Lalremtluanga & Ruthi Ramengmawii

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, the Department of English, in collaboration with the Literature Club, organised a poetry-writing competition. The results of the competition were declared on 20th March 2026. The results are as follows:

A Two Days Seminar on Unity and Integrity through Culture was organised by IQAC of the college under the PM-USHA scheme where the key note Speaker was Mr.PC Zosangliana and the members of the NGO of Republic Vengthlang actively participated in it.
