20th Annual General Meeting of Govt. T. Romana College Staff Welfare Association was held at Landmark Recreation Centre, Sakawrtuichhun on October 25, 2022. The programme had been convened into two sessions. The first session was chaired by Mr. C.V. L. Tlanhlua, President, SWA and Ms. Lucy Lalnunsangi, EM, SWA read the Bible and prayed handing over our day to the Almighty. There was a detailed activities report from Mr. Zothantluanga, Secretary SWA and annual financial report from Dr. Benjamin L. Ralte, Fin. Secretary, SWA. In the function Mr. C. Laldinsanga, Vice President SWA handed over Rs. 10,000 to Mr. Lalrintluanga in appreciation of his service to the college for more than 10 years, who has been promoted and transferred to Health Dept. The first session was concluded with a vote of thanks from Mrs. Lalnuntluangi, Treasurer, SWA.
In the second session annual general meeting was held and with a thorough discussion, the meeting amended some parts of the SWA constitution for the better future of the member of the association. After the formal sessions were over, the staff with their families enjoyed the day with merry making, and the day ended with a delicious dinner. SWA is the body where all the staffs of the college are the members and its main objective is to help and cater the need of the member and the college community through collective effort.
Election to the Office of Staff Welfare Association, Govt. T.Romana College was held on 16th August, 2019 at Millions Resorts. The election was conducted by the College Principal. The following persons were elected as Office Bearers for the term of 2019-2021:

Fin.Secretary: Dr. Benjamin Ralte, Associate Professor
