National Deworming Day was observed on 8th August 2019 under the supervision of theIQAC, Health and Medical Cell of the college and the Health Sub - Centre Republic Veng Thlang, . The Deworming Medicine(Albendazole ) supplied by the Health Department, was distributed to all students below 18 yearsof age.
The IQAC and the Academic committee of the college organise a motivation session for Advanced Learners encouraging them to excel in their academics.
The Health Cell ,IQAC of Govt. T.Romana College and the Revised National T.B Control Programme organised an awareness campaign on TUBERCULOSIS on Date 29.03.2019
The Legal Cell under IQAC of the college conduct a Certificate course on Jurisprudence. The resource persons from State Legal Service's Authority give lectures and conduct exam for the students. The resoursce person is MIss Lalrinnungi Sailo,Advocate.
The College Level Sensitization Workshop on RUSA Schemes was held in the College campus on the 29th October, 2015. The resource persons were Prof. K.L Pradhan, Member Secretary, SHEC and Additional State Project Director (RUSA) and Dr. Zarzoliana, Deputy State project Director (RUSA). The resource persons delivered a lecture on the RUSA Schemes and its implementations. All the teaching faculty and establishment staffs attended the meeting.
The Department of History, Govt. T. Romana college participated in the 19th Kaleshwari Tribal art Fair at Lunawada, Gujarat on the 7th March, 2015. The students of History Depratment performed Mizo cultural dances in the fair and also Dr. Malsawmliana, Associate Professor, dept. of History, read out his poems. The Tribal Art Fair was organised by Kaleshwari Sanskrutik Seva Trust Charosia, Lunawada, gujarat in which hundreds of tribal artists from various states such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and the host state Gujarat participated and show cased their works.
Govt. T. Romana College organised a 3 Days Workshop on E-Waste Management for Govt. Employees from the 23rd – 25th August, 2018 in collaboration with NIELIT, Aizawl Centre and Eco- Club, Govt. T. Romana College.
The college organised the North East Natya Sangam, 2019 (Festival of Contemporary Theatre Practices, Traditions and Diverse Cultural Expressions of India) in collaboration with the Sangeet Natak Akademi, from the 25th -28th Feb, 2019. During this festival a National Seminar on Perspective: Theatre in North East India was organised in the college Seminar Hall. The resource persons for the Seminar were – 1. Prof. Laltluangliana Khiangte, Mizoram University 2. S.Thaninleima, Manipur 3. Genevieve Khongjee, Meghalaya 4. Bijali Chakraborty, Tripura 5. Robuita Gogoi, Assam 6. Catherine Lalhruaitluangi Chhangte, Govt.T.Romana College. Academic papers on the perspective of theatre in North East India were presented and discussed.

Play: Hman lai Mizo Khawtlang Nun by Armed Veng Branch YMA Cultural Club 11. Play: To kill or not to kill Script, Design & Direction - Ovlyakuli Khodjakuli.
The National Integration and Medical Camp was organised by the college with the Indian National Fellowship Centre (INFC), Mumbai. This programme was organised as an important aspect of the college’s silver jubilee celebration. This programme was carried out from 27-31 March, 2016. The medical team comprising of three doctors from Pune and Hyderabad saw more than 600 patients in the medical camp held in Republic Vengthlang locality and Tachhip village.
For the purpose of National Integration , students from NITTE University, Mangalore and ML Dahanukar College of Commerce, Mumbai visited the college. A cultural programme was successfully organised in which the students from the college interacted with the visiting/exchange students.
