Following the Central Vigilance Commission's guidelines, Govt. T. Romana College conducted Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 on October 28, 2024 (Monday). The Department of English conducted an awareness session centred around the theme in their Core Room. Dr. Dorothy Zonunsangi, IQAC Coordinator and Head, Department of English gave a special lecture on the theme chosen for 2024, ‘CULTURE OF INTEGRITY FOR NATION'S PROSPERITY’. She highlighted the need to be vigilant in all facets of life and further elaborated on the different forms of corruption, providing an overview of its detrimental effects.
Subsequently, students from various departments took the Integrity Pledge under the supervision of Dr. Dorothy Zonunsangi, IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. Sakhawliana, IQAC Assistant Coordinator at the College Courtyard.
Dr. Dorothy Zonunsangi provided a short lecture on how all citizens must be vigilant and adhere to high standards of honesty and integrity at all times to combat corruption in society.
On the initiative taken by IQAC, Vigilance Awareness Week banner was displayed on the exterior wall of the College Building.
