The Finishing School Programme on the topic “Tour Guide and Tour Agent” was successfully conducted at Govt. T. Romana College on 29th April 2026 for the outgoing VI Semester Students. The programme was organized by the Student Support and Progression Cell under the Finishing School initiative, with the aim of empowering students through career awareness and skill development.

The resource person for the session was Ms. C. Ramsangzuali, Tourist Officer, Department of Tourism. The resource person delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on the scope and opportunities in the tourism sector. She explained the roles and responsibilities of tour guides and tour agents, highlighting the importance of communication skills, cultural knowledge, professionalism, and customer service in this field.
Overall, the programme was informative and beneficial, aligning well with the objectives of the Finishing School Programme to build excellence and promote career readiness among students.
