On 18th May, 2024, Graduation Dinner for outgoing students (2021-2024 batch)was held at KV Paradise, Durtlang. Formal session started at 1:00pm hosted by Mr. RD Lalsanglura and Ms Lalmawizuali Khiangte. The programme started with Bible reading and prayer offered by Mrs. Baby Lalramsiami, Head, Department of Education.
Dr. Jenifer Lalbiakdiki, Principal delivered a formal speech followed by special item and presentation of Memento from 4 departments - Economics, Mizo, English and Political Science.
Mr. Ngurthansanga, Assistant Professor, Department of Mizo entertained the audience with his beautiful voice which was followed by special item and presentation of Memento from 4 departments - Sociology, Public Administration, Education and History. Very special item from Faculty livened up the programme, turning the whole floor into a dance floor.
Farewell speech, full of important messages and encouragement to outgoing students was delivered by Mr. R. Lalremliana, Vice Principal. The first session was concluded with department wise photo session, followed by Grand Dinner. The second session, an informal session, entrusted to Music society of the College started at 5:00 pm - a wonderful and joyous session with awesome performance from members of Music Society.
The Organizing Committee of Graduation Dinner, 2024 is pleased and very grateful to the Principal for her encouragement, guidance and support; to all the staffs of the College for their collaboration and services and to all the Sub-Committees formed by the Organizing Committee that played a key role for the success of the programme.
Following a beneficial and successful awareness programme with the UD&PA department, the Sociology department, Govt. T. Romana College took the initiative to hold another awareness programme with the Rural Development Department, with the goal of educating students about the various Rural Development Schemes that are part of their syllabus.
