Two Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme

A two day entrepreneurship awareness programme was held on 14th and 15th February 2023 at Rusa Hall. This programme was sponsored by HRD, KVIC, Mizoram in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Knowledge Cell, GTRC to impart awareness to the students about the different trainings available under HRD, KVIC, Mizoram and the importance of entrepreneurship in the present day context. The first session was chaired by Dr. Lalchhuanmawia, Chaiman E.K Cell, GTRC and the Resource person was Mr. C. Lalramchhana, Owner of TakeAway Corner, Aizawl.

The second session was chaired by Mr. C Laldinsanga, Head of Department- Sociology and the resource person was Mr. F Lalrinenga, MKIV. All 6th Semester students participated in this awareness and were enlightened by the provocative and inspiring speeches delivered by the resource persons.

Laldingliana 2nd Semester is the National Champion in Arm Wrestling

On June 1, 2023, Govt. T. Romana organised a function in the college in celebration of the achievement of Laldingliana, 2^nd Semester student of English Dept. in the National Arm Wrestling Championship 2023 held at Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar. Mizoram Armed Wrestling team had landed at Lengpui Airport on June 1, 2023. Dinga was part of the Mizoram team who bagged 26 medals.

Govt. T. Romana College, Internal Quality Assessment Cell organized ‘Workshop on NEP’ on November 14, 2022 at RUSA Hall. Dr. Jenifer Lalbiakdiki Principal and Chairman of IQAC gave opening remarks on the objectives and framework of NEP which is in the process to be implemented from the next academic session.

Chief Minister Inaugurates Approach Road to Govt T. Romana College

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram, Pu Zoramthanga inaugurated the newly constructed approach road to Govt. T.Romana College via ITI locality on the 10th February 2023. The road is 485 metres long and financed through the SEDP amounting to Rs. 464.9 lakhs. The construction of the road commenced on 16th January 2021.
