VALENTINE’S DAY 2019

THEME: RELATIONSHIPS, SEX AND SEXUALITY
As was done in previous years, Govt T. Romana College observed a special programme on Valentine’s Day, taking the opportunity to educate students and create awareness on themes related to the general observation of the Day. This year, the theme ‘Relationships, Sex and Sexuality’ was underlined through a Classroom Campaign where guidelines created on the said theme were elaborated upon by teachers in their respective classes. A Special One-hour programme was also conducted for the students with a Keynote Address delivered by Dr. Lalrinmawii Tochhawng , and solo performances by students. At the end of the programme, students, staff and faculty took a Valentine’s Day signature pledge and were each given a ‘Red Ribbon Reminder’ to mark the event.
